Eimperio (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides website creation and ecommerce platform services for independent businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using Eimperio or an Eimperio-powered website, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate and maintain the platform.

Store Owner Information: When a website is created, we store information provided by the store owner, including store name, branding, business contact information, menus or product listings, delivery settings, service areas, and website content. This data is securely stored using Supabase.

Customer Information: When customers place orders on Eimperio-powered websites, payment information is processed directly by Stripe Connect. Eimperio does not store credit card or banking details. Limited order-related metadata may be stored to support order processing and refunds.

Local Storage: We use browser localStorage to improve performance and user experience, such as storing cart state and cached branding. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe Connect. Stripe may collect and process personal and financial information in accordance with its own privacy policy. Eimperio does not control Stripe’s data handling practices.

4. Third-Party Services

Eimperio uses third-party services to operate the platform, including:

• Stripe Connect for payment processing
• Supabase for secure data storage
• EmailJS for customer-to-store email communication
• Mapbox for address and location autocomplete

Eimperio does not monitor or read private email conversations sent through EmailJS. Each third-party service handles data according to its own privacy policy.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate and maintain Eimperio-powered websites, process payments and refunds, display store content and branding, facilitate customer communication, and improve platform performance and reliability.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

6. Communications

At this time, Eimperio does not send marketing emails, promotional messages, transactional confirmations, or service updates. This may change in the future, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Data Retention & Account Changes

Store owners may request updates to their stored data or the creation of a new Stripe Connect account. Stripe Connect accounts cannot be deleted and may only be replaced to prevent loss of funds already processed.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect stored information. However, no system is completely secure. By using Eimperio, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

9. Store Owner Responsibilities

Store owners are responsible for ensuring their own compliance with applicable privacy laws and for informing their customers how data is used on their website. Eimperio acts solely as a service provider.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
